RE/MAX Agents Outperform Competitors RE/MAX Agents in "The Thousand" Most Productive
DENVER, June 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Homebuyers and sellers want results and RE/MAX agents have proven once again that they deliver. In the 2014 REAL Trends "The Thousand," as advertised in the Wall Street Journal, RE/MAX had the most top home sellers. The survey ranked the top 250 agents and top 250 teams by transaction sides. When the 500 transaction sides rankings for agents and teams are combined, RE/MAX agents hold the most places, 112 (one out of five places). The report ranks participating agents based on their 2013 production.

"The Thousand's" 250 teams closing the most residential transaction sides include 64 from RE/MAX. Among the 250 individual agents, 48 are with RE/MAX.
"The Thousand" also ranked agents by the most sales volume. In all categories, both sales volume and transaction sides, 147 of the 1,000 positions were held by RE/MAX agents. No other brand held more positions.

- Teams with the most transaction sides – 3rd place with 1,278 sides, Ryan O'Neill's Minnesota Real Estate Team, RE/MAX Advantage Plus, Lakeville, MN
- Individual agents with the most transaction sides – 3rd place with 658 sides, Jeahad Kadaf, RE/MAX Leading Edge, Dearborn Heights, MI
- Teams with the highest sales volume – 8th place with $287 million, Ronnie & Cathy Matthews Team, RE/MAX Legend, Spring, TX
- Individual agents with the highest sales volume – 36th place with $149 million, Mike Sedar, RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring II, The Woodlands, TX
"The Thousand" rankings are not the first time this year that RE/MAX agents have been shown to be more productive. In the 2014 REAL Trends 500 survey of the country's largest brokerages, the data shows RE/MAX agents averaged 17.8 transaction sides compared to an average of 8.4 for all other participating agents, based on 2013 production.
When all brokerages in the 2014 REAL Trends 500 survey are ranked by home sales per agent, RE/MAX brokerages claim 91 of the top 100 spots.
In addition to leading agent performance, RE/MAX also continues to grow. In 2013, RE/MAX sold a total of 710 new franchises, and added 11 countries. This made a year-end global footprint of 97 countries, an international presence greater than any real estate organization.
