PLANO, Texas, Sept. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- RemitDATA Inc., the healthcare industry's leading provider of comparative analytics for provider productivity and financial data, announced today that it has appointed John Stanton as Vice President of Consulting and Phillip McClure as Vice President of Sales.
"With their combined experience, John and Phillip are tremendous assets to the RemitDATA team," said David Ellett, Chief Executive Officer of RemitDATA. "They will help us deliver and broaden our capabilities to physician and billing practices, as well as expand our reach to larger healthcare organizations."
For over 10 years, John Stanton has been working for healthcare management consulting firms. He began his career in regulatory and financial analysis, building analytical tools to help executives make decisions based on data. He then worked as an Executive Consultant at Beacon Partners, where he was immediately assigned to rescue a hospital-based physician clinic merger, integration and interface project at USC Hospital. Through this experience, Stanton has developed an expertise in implementing innovative programs and process improvements across industries. In his current role as Vice President of Consulting, Stanton is part of the executive leadership team, reporting to David Ellett, and working with account managers and the sales and marketing teams.
"RemitDATA recognizes the need that physician and billing practices have to be fiscally and operationally competitive," said Stanton. "The limited availability of business intelligence tools in the industry provides a significant opportunity for us to deliver the right solutions to fill this need."
Phillip McClure, Vice President of Sales, has over 18 years of experience introducing cutting edge technology to the healthcare industry working with SCI Solutions, NCR, Eviti Inc, and most recently with MedeAnalytics. As a Regional Sales Manager at Oacis Healthcare, McClure developed a strong clinical background, working to help promote Healthcare's first open architected clinical information system using what was then referred to as the HL7 movement. He also worked for large health systems in the Dallas area and eventually moved back into the vendor arena from which he blended his clinical background with financial experience.
"In our industry, the rising trend is utilizing big data for analytics," said McClure. "My goal is to help take comparative analytics to the next level in the industry and build upon RemitDATA's reputation as the domain experts on comparative analytics to better healthcare."
Stanton and McClure will be responsible for promoting TITAN, the leading real-time Comparative Analytic solution in healthcare offering analytics on reimbursement, utilization and productivity measures to outpatient providers, health systems and RCM/Billing companies.
