Renovated, Larger Silver Diner Now Open to Travelers at the AIRMALL® at BWI Marshall -- Silver Diner Now One-Third Larger, Making it one of the Biggest Airport Restaurants --

At 7,508 square feet, almost a third larger than the original location, the expanded Silver Diner at BWI Marshall is now one of the largest airport restaurants in the U.S.

The renovations to Silver Diner were part of a $15-million upgrade to the concessions program that the AIRMALL at BWI Marshall, its tenants and the airport are executing over the next two years.  The project will result in creating more than 18,000 square feet of additional retail space at BWI Marshall and is part of an overall airport construction program that includes the creation of a new connector between concourses B and C.   The expanded Silver Diner patio seating area is located along this new B/C connector and offers airfield views.

Silver Diner is a Maryland original that is known for its signature farm-to-table fare.  The restaurant offers a fun retro setting reminiscent of a classic American diner and focuses on serving healthier selections, along with diner favorites like all-day breakfast, burgers and milkshakes. It is open seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Silver Diner recently won "Best Airport Restaurant Design" in the ARN 2013 Best Airports and Concessionaires Awards. The ARN Best Airports and Concessionaires Awards is an annual awards program sponsored by Airport Revenue News that recognizes the industry's airports and concessions operators in categories, including best concessions design, best customer service, most unique services, and best overall concessions program.
