Results of The Nation's Report Card: Science 2011, Grade 8 Assessment Allows Comparison with 2009 in Three Content Areas of Science

WASHINGTON, April 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The results of The Nation's Report Card: Science 2011, Grade 8, which details students' knowledge and abilities in the areas of physical science, life science and Earth and space sciences, will be released May 10 via a live webinar.

Join us to compare results from the 2009 science assessment and find out how students in grade 8 are doing in science. Have overall scores improved? Have the percentages of students performing at or above the Basic, Proficient and Advanced achievement levels changed? Has there been a shift in the racial/ethnic achievement gaps or differences between the scores of students in public and private schools?
