Richard Semmes Promoted to President, SmartBIM

ATLANTA, Dec. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- SmartBIM is pleased to announce the promotion of Richard Semmes to President, increasing his current responsibilities directing all product related activities to also include all aspects of the operation of the business. The promotion is effective immediately and he will continue to report to Arol Wolford, Chief Executive Officer in this new capacity.

Mr. Semmes brings nearly three decades of experience in technology-related companies leading product and business development, customer support, and services management to his role as president. Prior to joining SmartBIM, Mr. Semmes was the Vice President of Solutions and Support for NovaQuest, a Dassault Systemes value-added reseller (VAR), where he was responsible for the product development, services and support organizations. Mr. Semmes has also held various positions at Dassault Systemes including global responsibility for ENOVIA Solutions covering the Aerospace and Defense, Automotive, Industrial Equipment and Shipbuilding industries.
