    HOUSTON, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Sally Ramsay, chair of PRSA Media Day
 2001: Surviving the Media Circus, announced today that Robert Rivard, editor
 and senior vice president of the San Antonio Express-News, Editor &
 Publisher's 2000 "Editor of the Year" and former senior editor of Newsweek,
 will be the keynote speaker at PRSA's Media Day 2001 on September 12.
 Representatives from Houston's leading print and broadcast media sources and
 seasoned public relations experts will also share media tips at the
 professional development seminar for PR practitioners.
     The event is being sponsored by the Houston Chapter of PRSA and will be
 held from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Marriott West Loop, 1750 West Loop
 South (near San Felipe).
