NEW YORK, Dec. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Rockefeller and Company - a leading global wealth management firm serving high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, foundations and endowments - today announced that Christopher J. Wolfe has joined the firm as a Managing Director and Chief of Investment Strategy, a newly-created position.

In this role, Mr. Wolfe reports directly to Austin V. Shapard, President and Chief Operating Officer, and will work closely with the firm's wealth management and investment professionals to spearhead asset allocation investment strategies across all asset classes. Also as part of his role, Mr. Wolfe will lead the development and integration of Rockefeller and Company's external manager offerings into the firm's client portfolios.

Previously, Christopher Wolfe was a Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at Merrill Lynch's Private Banking and Investment Group, where he was responsible for investment strategy, asset allocation and customized portfolio construction for the firm's ultra high net worth clients. Prior to working at Merrill Lynch, Mr. Wolfe served as a portfolio manager and partner at Dover Management in Greenwich, Connecticut. Before joining Dover Management, he served as a Managing Director and Head of Global Equities for JP Morgan's Private Bank.
