Ronald McDonald House Charities of the New York Tri-State Area Offers Scholarships to Graduating Seniors
NEW YORK, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Ronald McDonald House Charities of the
New York Tri-State Area (RMHC-NYTSA) and McDonald's restaurants are offering
scholarships to graduating high school seniors from local communities who face
limited access to educational and career opportunities. The scholarships are
part of the RMHC and McDonald's ongoing commitment to education. The deadline
for submitting applications is January 17, 2006.
New to the scholarship program this year, students of all backgrounds are
eligible to apply by submitting only one scholarship application, which will
include the RMHC/Asian-Pacific Students Increasing Achievement Scholarship
(RMHC/ASIA), RMHC/African American Future Achievers Scholarship, and
RMHC/Hispanic American Commitment to Educational Resources (RMHC/H.A.C.E.R.),
and the RMHC General Scholarship.
Currently enrolled high school seniors who are eligible to attend a
two-year or four-year college or university with a complete course of study
may apply. A limited number of applications are being distributed to all New
York Tri-State high schools; however, students can download the application by
