MANCHESTER, England, July 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
Direct Airport Parking Investment is putting itself in 'pole position' this weekend as sponsors of GP2 racing driver Oliver Rowland.
23 year old Oliver, who is currently fifth in the GP2 standings, will sport the Cheshire-based investment business's logo on his car graphics and helmet. The business is closely associated with the young MP Motorsport driver who hails from Sheffield.
Direct Airport Parking Investment deals in investments in off-airport car park spaces at the busiest of UK airports: London Gatwick, Glasgow and now London Luton.
Direct Airport Parking Investment's Andy Stevenson, who has arranged the sponsorship, said: "We're usually more concerned about the cars around major UK airports, but this weekend our eyes will be on the Silverstone track. It will be an exciting moment for us as we see our branding racing around this well-known circuit at high speeds.
"Watching the race will be a proud moment for us at Direct Airport Parking Investment. Oliver's career is really taking off and I'm sure it won't be long before he's driving in Formula 1. We wish him every success in this weekend's race and in his future career."
Racing driver Oliver Rowland said:
"It's amazing to be supported in this way by a dynamic and successful UK investment business that has such a strong association with cars and motorsport. I'm really looking forward to the race, and hope to take their new brand all the way to the podium."
Oliver is managed by former British racing driver Derek Warwick, whose Formula 1 career spanned the 1970s and 80s and into the early 1990s.
Direct Airport Parking Investment has recently adopted a new corporate identity, including a new logo which relates to the air travel sector in which they operate. The business is the Master Agent for Park First, the UK's leading provider of car parking close to the UK's biggest airports. Direct Airport Parking Investment is licensed to sell spaces on Park First owned and managed off-airport car parks to investors, with initial outlay as low as £20,000.
