RSI Logistics, Inc. Acquires USRail.desktop
Acquisition strengthens RSI Logistics as a leading rail freight transportation management system provider.
OKEMOS, Mich., Jan. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- RSI Logistics, Inc. (RSI) announced the acquisition of Freight Resources Network (FRN, LLC). The USRail.desktopTM software application and all other assets were acquired by RSI on December 31, 2012.
RSI Logistics provides rail freight logistics services that enable companies to better manage their rail transportation. RSInetTM is RSI's rail transportation management software for managing and tracking railcar shipments and fleets. The USRail.desktop software provides routing options for rail movements, railroad operating cost information, and rate benchmarking data. All of the USRail.desktop staff have joined RSI and will continue to manage the product from their office near Philadelphia.
