Company to Provide Signature Measurement, Prediction, and Analysis Support to the Missile and Space Intelligence Center

MCLEAN, Va. and SAN DIEGO, Nov. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) today announced it has been awarded a prime contract by the Defense Intelligence Agency, Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC) to provide signature measurement, prediction, and analysis support. The single award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a three year base period of performance, two one-year options, and a total value of more than $19 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily in Huntsville, Ala.

DIA/MSIC manages and produces all-source scientific and technical intelligence on foreign missile systems, missile defense systems, directed energy weapons, selected space programs and systems, and relevant command, control, communications, and computer systems. Under the contract, SAIC will provide a wide range of scientific and technical assistance to help predict, measure, analyze, and evaluate signatures of foreign missile systems and related ground support equipment.
