Jeep was recently awarded a 2012 OBIE Award for three billboards located across the U.S.
SAN ANTONIO, May 16, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Ingram Park CDJ, a Jeep dealer in San Antonio, is proud to announce that Jeep recently received an award for their three blacklit, electroluminescent billboards that were located in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City. The boards received such high praise due to the fact that they displayed two different scenes;one during the day and one at night.

The billboards were promoting both the limited edition 2012 Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: MW3 Special Edition SUV and also the most recently installment of the Call of Duty franchise, Modern Warfare 3.
Michael Manley , Jeep's President & CEO, discussed the genius behind the idea as well as the audience targeted, stating that, "This was a breakthrough creative idea that not only communicated the Jeep brand and its Wrangler Call of Duty: MW3 Special Edition SUV, but also allowed us to connect to the gaming world and expose the 2012 Jeep Wrangler to a completely new set of consumers. The Silver OBIE award was given to Jeep courtesy of the Outdoor Advertising Association for America(OAAA). They marveled at Jeep's full-scale campaign which included; broadcast, print, digital, social media as well as other campaign avenues. The OAAA really praised the billboards, as it was some of the most creative work they've seen on that space(billboards).
