Santana Soaring With 'Supernatural'; Added Tour Dates, Special TV Performances on Fall Slate

    SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Enjoying both popular and
 critical acclaim for their recent Arista release, "SUPERNATURAL", Rock 'n Roll
 Hall of Fame musician Carlos Santana and The Santana Band have announced some
 special performances along with the dates and locations for the fall/winter
 leg of their 1999 tour.  Just released in June, the double-platinum album
 quickly shot up to #4 on the Billboard Album chart, and its certified gold
 single, "Smooth," featuring vocals by Rob Thomas, has reached #6 on the
 Billboard Singles chart.  The album is being played on many radio formats and
 the "Smooth" video has been receiving heavy airplay on both VH1 and MTV.
     In addition to the band's regular tour schedule, Carlos and the Santana
 Band will perform three songs on ABC's Good Morning America television show on
 September 24, where they will be joined by special guests, Everlast and The
 Product G&B.  In addition, Carlos is joining Latin sensation, Ricky Martin, in
 the television studio to tape songs for a holiday special to be aired on
