Baumann has worked with dealers on a variety of federal and state regulatory matters. At CNCDA she formulated legal compliance strategies for dealer members in response to new legislation, legal developments, regulatory enforcement, and manufacturer policies. She frequently speaks at conferences and seminars on leading and emerging legal matters and has a national reputation among auto dealer associations.
Before joining the CNCDA, Baumann also achieved much success advising and defending clients in a wide array of matters, including environmental compliance, employment, Lemon Law and Proposition 65 at a national law firm.
Baumann will navigate the firm's auto dealer clients through regulatory compliance and implement corporate compliance and ethics programs to protect auto dealers from liability. Her experience will further round out the firm's auto dealer representation, complementing the firm's auto dealer litigation and transactional practice areas.
