SAN JOSE, Calif., March 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® (SCCAOR) will join the Vietnamese National Association of Real Estate Professionals (VNARP) in co-hosting an investment and real estate trade mission to Vietnam from March 1st through March 10th, 2017.
"We are very excited to partner with VNARP to host one of the first official real estate trade missions in Vietnam," said Neil Collins, CEO of SCCAOR. "The Vietnamese population in Santa Clara County is one of the largest in the nation. This trip will provide REALTORS® with a valuable international experience, and it will make them more effective when helping Vietnamese clients buy and sell homes in the Bay Area and international marketplaces."
The World Economic Forum ranks Ha Noi #8, Silicon Valley #3 and Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) #2 as the "most dynamic regions and cities in the world."
Ron Gonzales, former mayor of San Jose and President & CEO of Presencia, LLC, will also be attending the trip.
"During my first visit to Vietnam in 2015 I was impressed with the industrial infrastructure both being planned and built," said Gonzales. "Everywhere you turn in Vietnam you meet an entrepreneur. It is a country that is welcoming to Americans and American companies. I look forward to joining the SCCAOR and VNARP on this most important trade mission."
The purpose of the trade mission is to mutually provide unique and professional insights to potential investors for the investment and real estate opportunities in Vietnam and The United States of America. The mission's primary objective is to attract and encourage foreign investments and create strategic cooperation with local and foreign companies, organizations and government agencies with relevant counterparts and exist as a gateway between both countries.
The Trade delegation will be traveling to Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi and Da Nang. REALTORS® will meet with key stakeholders in the public and private sectors.
"Through the trade mission, the delegates will have an opportunity to exchange trade experience on how to handle best practices and investment opportunities in both Vietnam and the United States," said Evan Huynh, VNARP Founding President.
