This year's SECURITY EXPO (http://www.worldsecurityexpo.com) will present an event encompassing 5 different themes of Security Equipment, Homeland Security, Antiterrorism, Intelligent Transportation and Information Security, for the first time in Asia.
Each theme will have a dedicated pavilion dubbed as Integrated Security Hall, Homeland Security Hall, Forensic Science & Antiterrorism Equipment Hall, Intelligent Transportation Security Hall and e-Government Information Security Solution Fair.
SECURITY EXPO 2012 is supported by the Korean government (Ministry of Knowledge and Economy, Ministry of Public Administration and Security, and Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs) and co-organized by several government agencies and security organizations. A large number of buying decision-makers and influencers at government offices and public organizations will visit SECURITU EXPO 2012.
South Korea has been facilitating the security industry and supporting security enhancement policies. The fruits of this endeavor -- new security products featuring cutting-edge technologies -- will be on display at SECURITY EXPO 2012. In particular, technological breakthroughs, such as HD and thermal imaging cameras and video analysis solutions, which respond to demands for high video quality and intelligence in video surveillance, and innovative anti-terrorism systems and homeland security solutions, which are also important themes of Nuclear Security Summit Seoul 2012 coming up in March, are expected to draw huge attention.
Over 250 global security companies will exhibit their latest products and services at SECURITY EXPO 2012 to boost their sales in the remainder of the year amid expectations rising for the second half of 2012 as many security projects are in the pipeline. Approximately 25,000 visitors from all over the world are expected to flock to KINTEX near Seoul from March 14-16, 2012.
