NEW YORK, Nov. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Seedco Financial Services, Inc., a financial services organization providing funding and resources to support economic and social development, won a Stevie Award for "Best Overall Company of the Year" in the Service Business category. Seedco Financial was also a finalist in the "Best Executive" category. Winners were announced following a judicial process that reviewed more than 1,100 entries. Awards were conferred at a gala event in New York on November 13, 2009.

The 2009 Stevie Awards for Women in Business is an international competition recognizing the accomplishments of outstanding women executives, business owners and the organizations they run. The awards are produced by the creators of the prestigious American Business Awards(SM).
