2011 Global Sensing Solutions Seminar series in Santa Clara, Calif. outlines the role of pyrometers in improving quality and yield

SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- A sensors technology seminar being held in Santa Clara, Calif. on July 11th and July 15th will focus on temperature control as one of the most critical parameters in optimizing many solar photovoltaic production processes. Temperature greatly impacts the quality and yield in crystalline silicon wafer and solar photovoltaic manufacturing, yet the complexity of solar cell processes makes it difficult to obtain accurate measurements.

The 2011 Global Sensing Solutions Seminar series continues in the U.S. with two sessions in Santa Clara in conjunction with the Intersolar and SEMICON West conferences. "Optimizing Silicon Manufacturing Processes with Non-Contact Temperature Measurement," will be held Monday, July 11 from 2-5 p.m. and Friday, July 15 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., with networking receptions following each session.
