Serco Expands BPO Team in the Americas
ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Serco, the $7B international services company, today announces the addition of key business development leadership to further expand its Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) services in the Americas. In the past year, Serco has established its new Global Services division and has become one of the top 20 BPO providers around the world. The Serco Global Services team in the Americas welcomes the following seasoned industry veterans to their team:
Tim Tetarenko and Steve Rooke have been appointed Vice President of Business Development. They will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with potential customers to secure large end-to-end managed services agreements with clients in new and under-served markets. Their collective experiences span most industry sectors and geographies.
Previously, Tim was a top individual contributor for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) where he closed nine large deals in 11 years with contract values ranging from $100 million to nearly $2 billion. As a result, he has strong experience in business development and leading very large sales. Tim began his outsourcing career at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in 1990.
Previously, Steve was a top sales executive for Hewlett Packard, EDS and CSC where he closed numerous large deals with contract values ranging from $55 to $750 million. He began his outsourcing career in 1986 as a CFO for Systemhouse (acquired by EDS), one of the first service providers to enter the BPO market in Canada.
Craig Preston has been appointed Vice President and Account Executive. He will be responsible for ensuring our customers benefit from a proactive and strategic approach to account relationships. Craig has more than 20-years of experience in the utility sector where he held senior leadership positions with Southern Company, Excelergy and Allconnect. Prior to joining Serco, he served as the Service Delivery Executive for Capgemini's relationship with TXU where he managed a portfolio of BPO services for customer care, procurement and finance & accounting delivered from North America, Guatemala, India, the Philippines and China.
