WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Nov. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- SilencerCo, the leading firearm silencer manufacturer, announced the debut of its newest promotional film featuring the Maxim 9™, an integrally suppressed 9mm pistol.
The imaginative film, "Hiram Maximus Fights the Noise," is set in the 1980's with Maximus, an undercover cop cruising the streets, serving as both a watchful protector and a criminal's worst nightmare. When the muzzle blasts from battling bad guy after bad guy begin to take a toll on his hearing, Maximus turns to his chief of police to relieve the ringing in his ears.
Equipped with the Maxim 9, Maximus returns to fight crime as an (almost) silent guardian who doesn't need earplugs.
Never before has a company successfully produced a handgun with an integral silencer that is both hostlerable and hearing safe with any factory ammunition. The Maxim 9 gives Maximus and real-life users the hearing protection they need without the use of earplugs or muffs, preserving the user's hearing and allowing them to remain aware of their surroundings.
