SimpleSignal has deployed Sansay VSXi session controller for both access and interconnect applications. On the access-facing network, SimpleSignal is using the VSXi to expand its hosted unified communications business and enter new lines of business, adding service offerings tailored for larger enterprises and call centers. The management controls for calls, calls-per-second, and registration messages permit larger scale customers to be added simply and securely. On the interconnect-facing network, SimpleSignal is using the VSXi and its enhanced routing capabilities to carry additional volumes of traffic and to do so at more competitive rates.

The deployment of Sansay VSXi infrastructure brings SimpleSignal fully redundant, per-node call handling of 1,200 calls-per-second, representing a 3x improvement on current equipment. The added call processing capacity and use of geographic redundancy provides SimpleSignal and their customers with additional resilience in the case of traffic bursts or localized disruptions.
SimpleSignal is taking advantage of VSXi system flexibility to improve operations. The VSXi's comprehensive SOAP controls enable SimpleSignal to better use their custom provisioning system for quicker deployments.
