Bell Partners CEO and founder Steve Bell said, "Dhrubo Sircar will drive solutions that optimize our core operating platform, expand the on-line options available to our customers, and maximize our access to business intelligence to make better decisions that will benefit our owners and investors. We are excited to have him join our team."

Sircar noted, "Bell Partners is a respected and national name in the multifamily residential industry and I am delighted to join one of the largest and most progressive real estate investment and management firms in the U.S."

The Chief Information Officer position is a new post at Greensboro-headquartered Bell Partners. Sircar, among other responsibilities, will oversee the Information Technology division.

The Information Technology division will continue to be headed by Scott Kranz, Senior Vice President, Information Technology, who will partner with Sircar to optimize technology for Bell Partners and its properties.

Before his service with Wachovia, Sircar worked for Royal Insurance Company and the Burroughs Corporation. He holds a Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Delhi and a Master's of Science in Physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Sircar also completed post-graduate studies in computer science at UNC-Chapel Hill.
