Skysa Website App Bar Enters Beta
East Tennessee technology firm releases an easy to install website app bar
KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Dec. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Knoxville-based Skysa (http://www.skysa.com) has opened the flood gates by launching the beta phase of their website app bar.
The Skysa App Bar is a toolbar which appears at the bottom of any website that has it installed. The major benefit Skysa provides to website owners is the ability to increase the functionality of their website with five minutes of work and a single line of code. This is accomplished through a wide range of programs known as "apps." Some of the apps currently available are a fully functional chat room, a Facebook group app that allows visitors to connect with the website on the most popular social networking service, and announcement app to display important information to all visitors. The service currently boasts a library of ten apps, all of which have a wide range of uses.
"The Skysa App Bar enhances the functionality of any website. By using Skysa and the apps we offer through our bar, website owners can help centralize a company's social profile, add expanded website functionally, introduce integrated membership or free up valuable page space through consolidation of links," said David Furman, co-founder of Skysa.
Now that the beta phase has started, anyone can go to http://www.skysa.com to start using their solution after a quick registration process. Getting set up with Skysa takes less than five minutes and requires very basic HTML knowledge.
Once installed, website owners use the Skysa website to customize their bar with apps that are suited to their needs. Apps start functioning instantly and offer a range of settings to allow for further customization. Some of the apps have basic analytics that give interesting insight as to how people use them, such as the "Quick Links" app that includes click tracking to monitor the performance of your links.
David Furman added, "Our goal in the future is to continue expanding the apps we offer through our service, and to eventually open our platform to third party developers. The apps that can be installed through this method provide features for a website that a widget can never come close to."
Skysa is developed by an experienced team of web entrepreneurs that know the benefits that social and interactive features bring to websites, having also founded the Spruz Social Website Builder (http://www.spruz.com) in 2007. Spruz allows anyone to create a socially orientated website with no prior knowledge of web building required.
The Skysa App Bar is free to use and easily added to any website with just one line of code. No complicated software to install; just paste the code and select your apps.
