Based on an exclusive license to technology developed by researchers at the University of Colorado, Colorado State University, and Clarkson University, SmartMove tracks detailed real-time physical activity through sensors embedded in comfortable orthotic insoles, and provides personalized real-time coaching on a smartphone app which leverages personal motivation, strengths, and goals.

SmartMove intends to use the grant for additional end-user testing of the product, business development with strategic partners, and revisions of the product in order get it market ready.
