(http://www.getsmartmove.com), a Fort Collins, Colorado based company is developing a smartphone based personal activity coach that uniquely addresses "sitting" disease" and makes it easy to create healthy physical activity habits.  Based on an exclusive license to technology developed by researchers at the University of Colorado, Colorado State University, and Clarkson University, SmartMove tracks detailed real-time physical activity through sensors embedded in comfortable orthotic insoles, and provides personalized real-time coaching on a smartphone app which leverages personal motivation, strengths, and goals.
