As a leading provider of unified IP communications services with a deep expertise in business continuity solutions, Smoothstone worked with the Georgia Lottery to implement a fully managed MPLS network solution delivering SIP trunking services to a ShoreTel-based infrastructure.
To further ensure business continuity and speed disaster recovery, Smoothstone customized a Survivable Remote Telephony solution specifically geared to the Lottery's unique needs. This solution provides redundant voice trunk for all the Georgia Lottery offices through router enhancements that enable automatic failover in the event MPLS WAN or Internet links are lost.
"We are all about giving our clients the solution that best meets their needs, regardless of the requirements, even if that means some creative customization," added Shelly Godfrey, chief operating officer of Smoothstone. "We're glad that we could deliver a solution that will help the Georgia Lottery handle their high call volumes and deliver the high levels of service their customers expect."
