SocialGO Announces Twitter and Facebook Integration
DIY Service for Creating Monetized Social Networks Links to Twitter and Facebook to Boost Traffic to SocialGO Networks; Enables Privacy Settings
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- SocialGO (www.socialgo.com), the first platform for creating and monetizing social networks specifically geared toward the needs of small businesses, organizations and entrepreneurs, today announced integration with Facebook and Twitter. Owners of networks built on SocialGO can now enable members to sign onto their networks using Facebook Connect and Twitter Connect. Additionally, members can update their status on SocialGO-based networks via Twitter and share network content on Facebook.
SocialGO enables small businesses, organizations and entrepreneurs to harness social media's power by making their web presence a hub for their brands, and meets their needs for monetization, complete data/content ownership and network/privacy control, and total design/functionality customization.
"Whereas many small businesses that have created social networks to support their brands view these supersites as competitors, Facebook/Twitter Connect enable SocialGO users to make them assets," said Dominic Wheatley, Co-Founder and CEO, SocialGO. "These features greatly enhance users' ability to boost network traffic and virality by allowing Twitter and Facebook members to access their SocialGO-based networks by merely clicking a button, and invite their contacts through existing social networks."
Available today at SocialGO.com, users can add a Facebook/Twitter Connect widget to their SocialGO-based network which links to their existing account or guides them through quick sign-up processes using their Twitter/Facebook details. Members can then update their status directly to Facebook/Twitter with a link back to the SocialGO-based network, additionally boosting traffic. Twitter Connect also features a "share" button allowing users to publish SocialGO sites to Twitter feeds.
"Twitter and Facebook Connect represent the first step in our ongoing process of bridging SocialGO to major networking services that may enhance our clients' businesses by increasing their audience," said Alex Halliday, co-founder, SocialGO.
