Soleil Securities Expands Equity Capital Markets Capabilities; Names John Kelleher Head of Equity Capital Markets

NEW YORK, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Soleil Securities Corporation, a provider of value-added, independent equity research, sales, trading and execution services, announced today that John J. Kelleher has joined the firm's New York office as a Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets. The hire of Mr. Kelleher coincides with Soleil's strategic effort to offer capital raising services to corporate issuers.

Mr. Kelleher joins Soleil with 15 years of experience in the capital markets arena. Prior to joining Soleil, Mr. Kelleher was a Managing Director at LaBranche & Co. where he was responsible for all aspects of the firm's equity capital markets efforts. Prior to his role at LaBranche, Mr. Kelleher was in the Equity Capital Markets group at Banc of America Securities where he executed over 100 book-run offerings and raised over $50 billion in proceeds for issuers. During his career, Mr. Kelleher has also held capital markets positions at UBS Warburg, PaineWebber and RBC Capital Markets. Mr. Kelleher received his JD/MBA and BA degrees from Georgetown University.
