Solix, Inc. Wins Five-Year Contract Renewal to Provide Billing & Collection Services for State TRS Program Additional services include performance reporting for program assisting hearing & speech impaired customers

PARSIPPANY, N.J., Nov. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Solix, Inc., the leader in Qualification Process Outsourcing (QPO) for government and commercial customers, today announced it has won a five year contract renewal to continue providing services for an eastern state's Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) program. The state's TRS enables telephone communication between hearing or speech-impaired persons using a Text Telephone (TTY) or a Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) and parties using a standard telephone.

Among the duties Solix will perform for the TRS program:

  • Calculating the required annual assessment rate for program funding
  • Annually notifying program participants of the reporting and contribution process
  • Collecting funds from required contributors
  • Processing payments to the TRS service provider
  • Generating managerial and oversight reports

The company's previous strong performance and quality support for the TRS program earned compliments from the state's Public Utilities Regulatory Authority and TRS telecommunications provider.
