"Smash" Airs Mondays on NBC (10-11 p.m. ET)

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Feb. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Select songs from tonight's third episode of NBC's new critically acclaimed musical drama series "Smash" (Mondays, 10-11 p.m. ET), will be available today from NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products and Columbia Records on the iTunes store http://www.itunes.com/NBCSmash.  In addition, each week NBC also provides episode recaps, games, photos, video, musical performance highlights and even fan challenges at http://www.nbc.com/smash/.   

The three songs available for tonight's episode of "Smash," entitled "Enter Mr. DiMaggio" include:

"Grenade" – written by Christopher Steven Brown, Peter Gene Hernandez, Claude Kelly, Philip Martin Lawrence II, Ari Levine, Bruno Mars and Andrew Wyatt; performed by Will Chase

"Redneck Woman" – written by John D. Rich and Gretchen Frances Wilson; performed by Katharine McPhee

"Mr. & Mrs. Smith" – written by Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman; performed by Megan Hilty and Will Chase

In tonight's episode, the search begins for a Joe DiMaggio to play opposite Marilyn – but everyone's first choice, Michael (guest star Will Chase), has a secret.  Karen (Katharine McPhee) returns to Iowa for a baby shower and must decide what she wants for her future.  Eileen (Anjelica Huston) begins rounding up investors – but ex-husband Jerry (guest star, Michael Cristofer) may already have poisoned the well.  Debra Messing, Jack Davenport, Christian Borle, Megan Hilty, Raza Jaffrey and Jaime Cepero also star. 

"Smash," is a musical drama that celebrates the beauty and heartbreak of the Broadway theater as it follows a cross section of dreamers and schemers who all have one common desire – to be a "Smash."  Evolving from an idea of executive producer and multiple Emmy and Oscar winner Steven Spielberg and created by executive producer/acclaimed playwright Theresa Rebeck, the series is also executive-produced by Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, Craig Zadan, Neil Meron, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
