Spara Names Lawrence W. Jacobs Chief Financial Officer

LEXINGTON, Ky., Feb. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Spara LLC announced today the appointment of Lawrence W. Jacobs to its executive team as Chief Financial Officer.

Jacobs brings to Spara over 30 years of experience in metal manufacturing, mergers and acquisitions, financial restructuring and developing, and strategic growth.  Prior to joining Spara, Jacobs held a number of executive positions.  Most recently, Jacobs was involved as a private consultant providing assistance to various investment firms in their due diligence process, including document review and transitions. 

Jacobs previously served as Chief Financial Officer, Vice President, and Treasurer at RTI International Metals Inc., a manufacturer of titanium mill products and fabricated metal components, where he was responsible for overall accounting and financial functions, directing the treasury, investor relations, and maintaining compliance with regulator agencies.  Prior to joining RTI International Metals, Jacobs held senior financial leadership positions at PNC Bank.

Jacobs received his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science Degrees from Lehigh University.
