Grand Opening on October 9th at 7am!

PHOENIX, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Sprouts Farmers Market, one of the fastest growing retailers in the country, will debut its newest store in Boulder, Colorado with a variety of grand opening festivities including food tastings, giveaways and a giant pumpkin pie and ribbon cutting ceremony. Located in the Williams Village Shopping Center (2950 Baseline Road), the new Sprouts market joins other Colorado locations in Aurora, Fort Collins, Parker and Westminster. Additional Colorado stores in Centennial, Castle Rock and Greeley, are scheduled to open in 2010.

As the place where many natural food companies got their start, Boulder is a perfect fit for the newest Sprouts Farmers Market. And, in an ironic twist, Sprouts is bringing the Williams Village Shopping Center back to its grocery roots. The center originally opened in 1968 with a grocery store, and Sprouts is proud to fulfill that need again, forty years later. "Sprouts Farmers Market will be a welcome addition to Boulder and the University of Colorado, offering residents and students a new choice for where to buy their fresh and organic foods. Scheduled grand opening events:

Friday, October 9th:

• 6:55am: Giant pumpkin pie and ribbon cutting ceremony
• 7am: Grand opening and breakfast buffet (while supplies last)
• Free reusable bags will be handed out and used for all customer purchases (while supplies last)
  

Saturday, October 10th:

• 7am: Sprouts "goodie" bags to the first 200 customers (with purchase)
  

Sprouts now has 40 locations in Arizona, California, Texas and Colorado.
