StackSearch Changes Company Name to Qbox Enterprise Search Firm Takes Name of its Flagship Service

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., March 17, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- StackSearch, Inc., provider of hosted Elasticsearch, has adopted the name of its flagship service,, as the official name of the company.  The corporate rebranding reflects the company's position as a leading search-as-a-service provider in the Elasticsearch ecosystem.

According to Mark Brandon, Qbox CEO and co-founder, the rebranding formalizes the branding by which the company has become known in its user community.  He continued, "Maintaining Qbox as a separate brand was not only expensive and time consuming, it was also confusing to our customers and potential customers."

"Elasticsearch is a massively popular open-source, end-to-end search engine and analytics platform," said Brandon, "and this change represents our continuing and complete commitment to spreading the goodness of fully-managed and scaled Elasticsearch hosting via Qbox."  Qbox will continue to provide professional services in response to increasing demand from its customer community.  Annual support contracts for application-level support from the same committers who authored the code are also available.

Brandon concluded, "Our team is the same, and our customers can expect the same great personal service by which we have become known.  Whether you are a Fortune 500 company or small dev shop, we are proud to continue serving our customers as we focus on rapidly growing Qbox's hosted Elasticsearch market share and reputation."
