GREENBELT, Md., Dec. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- SGT, Inc., a leading provider of Engineering, Science, Project Management, and Information Technology services, today announced they have acquired the Mechanical Systems Engineering Services IIB (MSES IIB) Contract from Bastion Technologies of Houston, Texas effective January 1, 2010.

As a result of the contract acquisition, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center has determined that all current work on the MSES IIB Contract will be transferred to the MSES IIA Contract beginning calendar year 2010. NASA Goddard has also stated that any new work under the scope of Mechanical Systems Engineering Services will be procured through the MSES IIA Contract vehicle.

Following the acquisition, Bastion Technologies will be a subcontractor to SGT and will perform work under the MSES IIA Contract.
