PURCHASE, N.Y. and QUINCY, Mass., Feb. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Following a recall by Newman's Own, Inc., The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company LLC announced it removed from sale Newman's Own Salsa Con Queso due to an undeclared allergen, wheat, on the ingredient label. This product is safe to consume for individuals who do not suffer from a wheat allergy.

- March 28, 2015

Stop & Shop has received no reports of illnesses to date. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
