SAN ANTONIO, June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- StormCon, the North American Surface
Water Quality Conference & Exposition, has expanded its educational offerings
to include the one-day Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality (CPSWQ)
exam review course on Sunday, July 27, 2003.
StormCon, taking place July 27 through July 31, is the largest gathering
of professionals involved with surface water quality in North America.
Conference attendees include those with years of experience as well as
industry newcomers. Hundreds of public-sector officials, regulators, private
engineers, and manufacturers come together each year for three focused days
concentrating on solutions to the NPDES Phase II-related challenges our
communities are facing. The event also includes the world's premier trade
show of stormwater-related products, equipment, and services.
CPSWQ Certification provides evidence of qualifications in stormwater
management principles and methods. CPSWQ Certification is available to those
who have the educational training, demonstrated expertise, and experience in
computing, analyzing, and evaluating stormwater quality.
"The public insists on professional competence from their stormwater
managers, and CPSWQ is the only professional certification available in the
industry. The addition of the CPSWQ exam review course is a tremendous
addition to this year's lineup at StormCon," remarked Steve Di Giorgi,
StormCon director. "We've got Robert F. Kennedy Jr. delivering the Keynote
Address as part of three full days packed with stormwater-related classes and
conversations. We've got the largest stormwater-specific trade show in the
world. If stormwater is your thing, why would you want to be anyplace else?"
Mr. Kennedy's Keynote Address will take place Tuesday morning, July 29.
StormCon is produced by Forester Communications of Santa Barbara, CA
