Sue Rosiek Named Publisher and Executive Editor of Observer & Eccentric and Hometown Newspapers
DETROIT, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Sue Rosiek, executive editor of the Observer & Eccentric and Hometown Newspapers has assumed the additional responsibility of publisher for the group of community newspapers.
The announcement was made by Susie Ellwood, chief executive officer of Detroit Media Partnership, which manages the business functions for the Detroit Free Press, The Detroit News and serves as sales agent for the Observer & Eccentric and Hometown Newspapers.

For more than 25 years, she has been an integral part of the successes at these newspapers as well as being an active community member," said Ellwood. Sue Rosiek has been part of the Observer & Eccentric organization since 1984. She has held various positions including regional reporter, copy editor, community editor and managing editor. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of St. Joseph Mercy Health Systems and chairs the budget committee. Rosiek also is a member of the Livonia Community Marketing Consortium, serves on committees for Schoolcraft College and is a founding member of Giving Hope.
She is a graduate of Michigan State University with a BA in journalism and has completed post-graduate work in business, law and journalism at both MSU and the University of Detroit.
