Weiner brings 14 years of publishing experience to Summit from Bedford Communications where he was VP/Publisher in charge of all revenue streams for their flagship properties LAPTOP Magazine and LAPTOPmag.com. Weiner successfully rebuilt Bedford's digital property and restructured their sales efforts, which resulted in the sale to Tech Media Network in 2011, where Weiner stayed on as VP of Integrated Media. Prior to Bedford, Weiner was Group Publisher of the Commercial Real Estate and Finance Group at Penton Media, where he oversaw five brands including National Real Estate Investor and Lodging and Hospitality and the transition of print-centric to web-based properties.
