GLENDALE, Calif., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA), one of the country's largest providers of specialty surgical services, announced today it has entered into a joint venture arrangement with Lakeside Surgery Center in Glendale, Calif. to partner in the operation of the center.

Under the agreement, SCA and a group of physician partners will own the center, and SCA will provide management services.

Lakeside Surgery Center will continue to be a multi-specialty surgical center, focusing on gastroenterology, a comprehensive colonoscopy screening program, colon and rectal surgery, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, hand surgery, general ophthalmology and vitreoretinal care, podiatry, otolaryngology, urology and pain management.
