Suzanne Martin Joins Heart+Mind Strategies Heart+Mind Strategies Continues to Expand Strategic Offerings

WASHINGTON, Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Heart+Mind Strategies, a rapidly growing, full-service, strategic research and consulting company today announces the hire of Suzanne Martin, Ph.D. to the position of Senior Research Consultant to expand the strategic offerings of the company.

Suzanne, formerly president of her own eponymous research consulting company, has over 20 years' experience actively conducting all aspects of the research process.  Her areas of special focus include youth, education and Millenials.

Prior to founding her own company, she held management positions with Just Kid Inc. and Harris Interactive.   During the course of her career, she has taken part in hundreds of youth-centered projects for profit and not for profit organizations on a wide range of topics including toys, clothing, social marketing, materialism, media use, tobacco advertisements, intergenerational programs, substance abuse and mental health.

After earning an M.S. in marketing and Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Arizona, Suzanne worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania, working with behavior change expert, Dr. Martin Fishbein, conducting research on teens, sex and the media.    

In addition to designing, conducting and analyzing research field work, Suzanne retains an academic connection, teaching advertising communications and media, as well as collaborating on academic research.  Multiple media outlets seek her point of view on today's young generation.
