Swan Energy extends the company's drilling program to include oil and gas exploration in Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado

DENVER, Aug. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Swan Energy Inc. has currently reached a drilling milestone for the company.  Swan Energy is currently participating in the drilling of oil and gas wells in 3 states: Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado. 

Swan Energy's Texas drilling program is a 10,000' wildcat well, which will test the Oil Creek formation in Fanin County, Texas.

The Golden Trend in Oklahoma continues to prove effective for Swan Energy's drilling program.  Swan Energy has 16 wells in production and one currently drilling in Oklahoma.

Swan Energy is participating in one horizontal well currently drilling in the Wattenberg Field in Colorado.  Swan Energy plans on participating in 10 more oil and gas wells over the next 5 months in the Wattenberg Field targeting the Niobrara and Codell formations.
