Herd of 20 Art Cows Makes Debut Nov. 2 throughout Harwood, Dallas in

Uptown; Welcome Ceremony at 11 A.M. in Marie Gabrielle Gardens

30 Oct, 2007, 01:00 ET from Harwood International, Inc.

DALLAS, Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Longhorns, Hereford and Angus cows are
synonymous with Dallas, part of its heritage, part of its history. On
Friday there will be a new breed in town, the Harwood Swiss Cow, which will
be found grazing in Uptown's newest district -- Harwood, Dallas. Standing,
grazing and lying down, the 20 "Harwood branded" black cows will define the
geography of the 17 city blocks that comprise Harwood, Dallas. These 17
blocks include high-rise offices, high-rise residences and green open
spaces, most notably the Marie Gabrielle gardens, Harwood's hidden jewel.

The Harwood Swiss Cows will be warmly welcomed during a ceremony in the
verdant Marie Gabrielle gardens at 11:00 AM, November 2, 2007, as part of
the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR) Office Tour.
     A MOOVING STORY
Why Swiss cows you ask? Harwood International is the company behind
Harwood the district, and Swiss-born developer Gabriel Barbier-Mueller is
the man behind the company. Not surprisingly Harwood is also home to the
Honorary Swiss Consulate. No prizes for guessing who is the consul!
"We are 'mooved' that the Swiss Cows have chosen to make their new home
in Harwood, Dallas," said Gabriel Barbier-Mueller, Honorary Swiss Consul
and chairman and CEO of Harwood International, Inc.
"The Swiss Cows obviously recognize Harwood International's spirit, and
our commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and fun environment for the
residents of Azure and other residences to follow, and for the tenants of
the four office buildings in Harwood International Center and the emerging
Saint Ann Court," continued Mr. Barbier-Mueller. "We are certain that the
Swiss Cows, their visitors, and their friends and neighbors will find life
in Harwood, Dallas a 'mooving experience'."
     WELL BRED
These are no ordinary Swiss cows but rather objects of art with a
world-class pedigree from Swiss designer/artist Jurg Bachtold. Mr. Bachtold
is internationally recognized for his life-like animal statuary and brings
a true taste of Switzerland to the ample green spaces of Harwood.
Dallas now joins a list of cities worldwide with art installations of
 an urban "cow parade."
It has taken 25 years to make Harwood what it is today. Over the next
five years Harwood, Dallas is set to grow. The high-rise residential tower,
Azure, will complete in the late fall, the 26-story Saint Ann Court office
building has broken ground, and several other projects are in the detailed
planning phase. All in all, Harwood plans a total of 17 phases of
 development.
You can really see things are mooving in Harwood!
