SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- SWISS announces today new long-haul service between San Francisco and Zurich six times a week offering Bay Area passengers the opportunity to enjoy Swiss hospitality and feel right at home when flying to Switzerland and beyond to any of its 76 worldwide destinations.

The new service will begin on June 2, 2010 with an Airbus 340 complete with the SWISS First and SWISS Business cabins plus a more comfortable SWISS economy experience. The schedule is as follows:

San Francisco-Zurich (SFO-ZRH)  LX 39    dep. 7:25 p.m.   arr 3:40 p.m.+

Rigorous cost management and focused endeavours to enhance efficiency, make SWISS one of the few air carriers able to further expand its network in 2010.
