upgrade and full validation of Oracle AERS(R), version 4.3. Using AERS,
Synteract continues to perform safety surveillance, reporting and management,
and is a value-added service provider of the product. The upgraded version
has enhanced medical information and product complaint features. The
Company's Safety Department specializes in the performance of
pharmacovigilance services, such as case entry, safety monitoring and
assessment, regulatory submission and reporting, and safety database
Synteract also offers secured access to AERS as an Application Service
Provider (ASP). This allows clients the ability to enter, track and report

Oracle AERS is a full-featured adverse event reporting system, designed to
meet safety data processing needs for regulatory submission and marketing
