"The CMMI Level 5 rating is evidence of TASC's continued operational excellence in managing complex projects for our government customers," says Kevin Anderson , manager of continuous improvement at TASC. "Our process discipline, combined with our domain knowledge and engineering expertise, helps ensure our customers meet both their performance and their affordability objectives."
The CMMI Level 5 maturity rating assesses the full range of an organization's software and systems engineering, program management and organizational management capabilities. Level 5 signifies that an organization has achieved high maturity levels in its ability to predict cost, schedule, performance and quality of product or service, which in turn significantly reduces risks in project execution.
"Today, our nation needs capable national security systems that address unpredictable threats and are delivered on time and on budget," says Anderson. "By applying a highly disciplined process to a system's full life cycle, we help our customers ensure mission readiness and sustainability."
TASC has been rated at CMMI Level 5 since 2003. A new CMMI assessment is conducted every three years.
