Tasktop and VersionOne Partner to Bring Eclipse Mylyn Integration to V1 Agile Enterprise

VANCOUVER, British Columbia and ATLANTA, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ --Tasktop Technologies (http://tasktop.com), creators of Eclipse Mylyn and provider of task management integration for Agile ALM, and VersionOne (http://www.versionone.com), recognized by agile practitioners as the leader in agile project management tools, today announced a partnership to create the VersionOne Mylyn Connector. Set for release with Tasktop Pro in March, 2010, the connector will help streamline software development by providing direct access to VersionOne products from within the Eclipse IDE.

The VersionOne Mylyn Connector builds on Mylyn's innovative task-focused productivity technology to provide development teams with the most relevant source code for a given task. It helps reduce information overload for large-scale development projects and facilitate more efficient and collaborative multitasking. The Tasktop Pro integration is a standalone application that will provide rich desktop access to stories, defects and tasks in VersionOne for product owners. The integration will be included in Tasktop Pro, and provide time-tracking facilities as well as the ability to link VersionOne stories and defects to dependent artifacts in other systems with a Mylyn connector. It will be Tasktop Certified, and appear in the Mylyn Connector Discovery listing that is included in eight of nine Eclipse distribution packages.
