Mr. Vance brings ten years of tax law expertise to ORBA. He has experience with all aspects of mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs and recapitalizations for corporations, limited liability companies and other flow-through or disregarded entities. He is adept in minimizing self-employment and net investment income taxes for closely-held business, investment funds and other entities.
He also has experience with representing clients before tax authorities in numerous U.S. states, the District of Columbia, IRS examinations, IRS office of appeals, the U.S. Tax Court and the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
