Last week, more than 25 Teamster locals participated in hand billing activities at Albertsons stories.
"We are entering our third week of these hand billing actions and they're only going to continue to grow," said Rome Aloise, President of Joint Council 7 and Secretary-Treasurer of Local 853. "Taylor Farms should recognize the national scrutiny they are facing, clean up their facilities and stop their abuse of workers. We won't stop until they do just that."
"It's been a long fight for justice at Taylor Farms," said Maria Leon, a worker at Taylor Farms. "Every worker I know is determined and committed to bringing us closer to justice. We will continue these hand billings and will not stop until we accomplish our goal of better conditions and an end to worker abuse at the Tracy, Calif. facility."
