ARLINGTON, Texas, Nov. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- For two years now, Texas Power has contributed to the Tarrant Area Food Bank by arranging a company wide food drive. Each department is encouraged to make donations of non-perishable items that will be given to area families in need during the holiday season.

Texas Power Office Manager, Salena Holloway, took charge of coordinating the donation this year, emphasizing the importance of giving. "We all have something we can give, whether it is our money, time or our talents." The demand for donations at the TAFB is up approximately 25 percent from this time last year, making it increasingly important to give. "I hope that our donations make the difference so parents will know that their children will not go to bed hungry."
