PLANO, Texas, Jan. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The experienced attorneys at Texas-based Siebman, Burg, Phillips & Smith, LLP, have added former federal law clerk Elizabeth "Beth" Forrest as an associate in the firm's Plano office.
Ms. Forrest represents firm clients in a variety of civil matters with an emphasis on intellectual property claims and business disputes. Her federal court practice includes work in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, where she previously clerked for the Hon. Amos L. Mazzant III in Sherman. She also represents clients in state district courts in Collin County, Grayson County and the surrounding communities.
A cum laude graduate of Seattle University School of Law, Ms. Forrest earned her undergraduate degree in journalism from Southern Methodist University. She is a member of the Eastern District of Texas Bar Association, Grayson County Bar Association, Collin County Bar Association and the Judge Paul Brown American Inn of Court.
Ms. Forrest participated in her first patent trial only three months following her federal clerkship. Her intellectual property background includes previously serving as a panelist for advanced patent law conferences sponsored by the State Bar of Texas and the Eastern District of Texas Bar Association.
