The Briad Group™ Announces Licensing Agreement With Fox Restaurant Concepts to Expand Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar
Aggressive Expansion Plans Cover all States East of the Mississippi
LIVINGSTON, N.J., Feb. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- After opening the East Coast's first Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar in Clifton, New Jersey in December 2010, to much fanfare, stellar reviews and packed crowds, The Briad Group™ announced today a licensing agreement with Fox Restaurant Concepts to develop additional Zinburger locations. The Briad Group has the rights to develop Zinburger in all 23 states east of the Mississippi.
"With the incredible success of the Clifton location and the Fox-owned locations in Arizona, we feel Zinburger is the right concept for growth opportunities now and in the future," said Brad Honigfeld, chief executive officer of The Briad Group.
While specific details on expansion plans are not yet finalized, The Briad Group's growth plan for Zinburger will initially focus on the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast states.
The Briad Group is the largest T.G.I. Friday's franchisee in the U.S. and is also a franchisee of Wendy's as well as Marriott and Hilton Hotels. The Briad Group also owns, operates, and franchises its own proprietary brand named CUPS Frozen Yogurt That's Hot™.
"We are really excited about this ongoing partnership with The Briad Group as we see great potential for Zinburger's future growth. The success of the Clifton restaurant has demonstrated that this brand is resonating extremely well in that market and also shows there is an open market for a gourmet burger concept like ours," said Sam Fox, chief executive officer of Fox Restaurant Concepts.
The Zinburger concept centers on offering gourmet burgers combined with perfectly paired wine selections. The wine menu includes 21 varieties affordably priced from $5 to $15 a glass.
Signature burgers include the Zinburger (with Manchego Cheese & Zinfandel Braised Onions) and the Kobe Burger (with Vermont Cheddar & Wild Mushrooms). All burgers are made with Certified Angus Beef and ground twice daily.
Side selections include generous portions of Hand-Cut Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, Zucchini Fries and Double Truffle Fries. A dessert menu features eight old-fashioned, hand-dipped milkshakes and floats as well as homemade Banana Cream Pie. Popular-inspired shake creations include Creme Brule, Strawberry Cheesecake and Bananas Foster.
Zinburger Clifton offers a full bar and happy hour Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. On Wednesdays guests can enjoy half-price bottles of wine.
The Zinburger Clifton restaurant is located at The Promenade Shops at Clifton, 852 Route 3, Clifton, New Jersey, 07012. Zinburger is open Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
